Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes information handling for the public website at parler.si. The Site is operated by Parler Technology LLC, which is the site operator and, where applicable, the data controller for the processing described here. For privacy questions, contact [email protected] or write to Parler Technology LLC, 2222 W. Grand River AVE STE A, Okemos, MI 48864, USA.

This notice covers the Parler.SI website and its member services. Third-party services linked from the Site operate under their own privacy notices.

Information we process

The Site publishes technology content and provides member accounts, account support messages, API usage views, and administration features. Account creation may require an invitation code. Checkout is only available when a working payment option is displayed. We do not use advertising trackers, behavioral-advertising pixels, or third-party analytics on this Site.

Information processed when you visit

The Site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages and its network. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request URLs, request times, referrers, browser or device details, and traffic or security signals to route, deliver, and protect the Site. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Member services use session cookies to keep you signed in. These cookies are HttpOnly and Secure on HTTPS, and the browser cannot read their values through page scripts. User sessions expire after inactivity and have a maximum lifetime. The Site also stores your language and display preferences in your browser’s local storage.

Information you send us

Account information. We process your email address, display name, password hash, account creation and update times, and login times to create and secure your account. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Administrators may update account details, respond to support requests, or reset an account password.

API usage information. If your account display name matches an API key name, the Site can retrieve associated key status, rate-limit information, token counts, estimated costs, and request history from the API service. A key submitted for API-key login is checked against that service and is not saved in the Parler.SI account database. Usage results are shown to the signed-in account that matches the key name and to authorized administrators.

Messages. If you send a message through your account, we store its subject, body, submission time, and any reply or read status so we can respond and show the conversation in your account.

Payments. When Stripe checkout is configured and you choose to pay, Stripe processes payment details. Parler.SI stores transaction references, product and amount details, payment status, and related account information for access, support, and transaction records. We do not store full payment-card numbers. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

If you email us, we receive the email address and any name, message, or attachment you include. We use it to respond and keep a record where reasonably necessary. Email passes through the mail providers used to send and receive it. Do not email passwords, API keys, payment-card numbers, or other sensitive credentials.

The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It uses strictly necessary session cookies for signed-in accounts. Your browser may also cache pages and images. Cloudflare may use technical security measures needed to deliver or protect the service.

Articles may link to external websites. If you follow a link, the destination receives your request and handles it under its own privacy notice. We do not control those sites.

Why information is used and when it is shared

We use information to operate accounts, authenticate members, display matching API usage, process support messages, manage payments when enabled, protect the Site, and meet legal obligations. We share relevant data with Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, and security; with the API service when checking a submitted API key or retrieving account-matched usage; with Stripe when checkout is active; and with email providers when we receive or send email. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the Site, its visitors, or legal rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cloudflare and payment providers may process information in locations outside your country under their own terms and safeguards. Their privacy notices describe those practices.

Retention and security

Account, session, message, and payment records are retained while needed to operate the account, provide support, maintain transaction history, and meet legal obligations. To request account deletion or correction, email us. Some records may need to be retained where law requires or permits it. Hosting and security logs are subject to provider settings and retention practices.

We use reasonable measures to protect information we control, including salted password hashes, restricted administrator access, and secure session cookies. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Some laws also provide data portability or the right to complain to a regulator. The European Commission provides an overview of individual rights under the GDPR.

To make a request, email [email protected] and describe what you need. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify and locate the request. We will respond under the deadlines and exceptions in the law that applies. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions.

Children

The Site is a general technology publication and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at the address above so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this policy when the Site or its data practices change. We will revise the “Last updated” date when we publish a new version.
